Description
Richard Woods designed the Gypsy as the smallest catamaran with the best of various worlds: The open deck passage forward with the shelter of a central cabin. The draught for shallow waters and the seaworthines for the open ocean. The sportive sailing with sufficient space for spartan live-aboard. "Tweebaksman" is built by the present owner, with the emphasize on exhilarating daysailing. Hence the modern rigging with pivoting carbon mast and boom, dyneema shrouds and a light-weight construction following Woods' plans in corecell/epoxy/tri- and quadraxial glass sandwich. The new Raymarine Nav-instruments are still in their box. The owner is growing too old now to complete these last jobs.
