The "Big Twin" is based on the experiences with the "20-Plus" of the wellknown Dutch catamaranbuilder Frits Dubois. She features more room in the hulls that allow for 2 comfortable doube beds without compromising the excellent performance. The hulls are built in WRC composite strip planking with epoxy-aramide (Kevlar) sheathing; one of the strongest building methods for round hullshapes. "Big Twin" is very well maintained by the present first owner/builder. In 2009 the two outboards were replaced by twin 27 Hp diesels. In 2014 the mast and the standing rigging were renewed. The starboard owners'cabin and the deckhouse have central heating that is fed by coolwater from the engines. The yacht is aimed at fast voyages with a small crew, but is also suitable for adventurous charters. The growing age of the owner forces him to sell this dream to a dedicated new owner.
